Mention needs to be made here about taxi-boys as rent-boys or hustlers are known in Buenos Aires. They can usually be found on the street after 10 pm on either Av. Santa Fe or Marcelo T. De Alvear between Av. Callao and Anchorena. They will often be studiously examining the contents of a shop window or waiting for a bus that never comes. Their charges are lower than the escorts found on a web-site but be very cautious if you think of contracting their services. Telos rooms from my experience are absolutely clean, nicely furnished, with private bathroom, and the beds always have fresh sheets. Some rooms have water bed or jacuzzi. They are very popular with couples who don't have their own place; there is a law in the city of Buenos Aires that telos cannot refuse same-sex couples.
